KOBOLD’s NBK Bypass Level Indicator can be used for visual indication, continuous measurement and/or the control of liquid levels that involve compatible media with viscosity of less than 200 cPs, pressures up to ANSI Class 1500 and temperatures up to 750 °F.

KOBOLD Circular Magnet System is effective from all sides

Unlike other bypass level gauges, the NBK uses a circular magnet within the float, which allows for the positioning of point level switches (or other accessories) almost anywhere on the exterior surface of the bypass tube. This flexibility in the switch position allows level switch points to be as close as 1" apart, making the NBK the most versatile level indicator on the market today.

Hydrostatic pressure principle

The NBK’s bypass level indicator design relies on the hydrostatic pressure principle, and displays tank level in a side-mounted measuring chamber. A float, which contains a ring magnet, rises and falls with the liquid level in the bypass tube.

Industrial ruggedness

KOBOLD’s bypass level indicators are constructed entirely of metal, eliminating the breakage and leakage issues often associated with common glass tube designs.
